milton is a personal finance app that shows individual investors how news, market movements and world events affect the investments they actually own. Instead of following every headline, users get a personal view of what matters to their portfolio, why it matters and where to look closer. milton was created by the team behind morningcrunch, building on years of making financial markets easier to understand.

We built the brand and product as one system, from the positioning and visual identity to the core experience of the app. That meant designing the four screens everything revolves around: the daily brief, portfolio, watchlist and stock detail, alongside the flows and interactions connecting them. Around the product, we created a distinctive illustration system with interface icons, editorial stickers and Milton himself, then extended the identity across the website, App Store, social and email.
