Our work

We design fellow's digital experience across the customer journey, from booking an appointment to managing ongoing care in the patient portal. Our focus is on making every interaction intuitive, recognizable and distinctly fellow: warm and lovable without losing the professionalism and clarity people expect from healthcare. Beyond the core booking platform and patient portal, we support the team across ongoing digital design needs as fellow continues to grow and roll out new locations.

The patient portal on a phone: the next appointment at the top, the care reminders under it

Portal

The portal opens on the one thing that is actually next. Under it sit the small jobs that are usually a phone call or an email: a missing microchip number, an invoice nobody has seen, a vaccination pass still in another practice's file. None of it is urgent and all of it is work, which is why it belongs somewhere an owner already has open rather than in a reminder from the practice.

Booking on a phone: the step that asks which animal is coming, and what is wrong

Booking

Booking runs on four steps and never asks the same thing twice. We ask only for what the practice needs in order to see the animal, and everything else waits: the soonest free slot is offered before the calendar, choosing a vet is optional, and the animal is the second question rather than the fifth. Asking less is also what gets people to the end, which is most of the difference between a form and a conversation.
